A core HIP function is to help connect community organizations and residents to data about health status in Washtenaw County.
The 2015 HIP survey and the Latino Health survey results are now online. Over 2,900 residents participated in the HIP survey. Survey data from 2005 and 2010 is also available in the database.
The Washtenaw childhood obesity surveillance project began in 2013. Through the Health Improvement Plan (HIP) collaborative, Washtenaw County Health Department worked with St. Joseph Mercy Health System and the University of Michigan Health System to create the first Washtenaw Child BMI Dataset. WCPH compiled and analyzed the data in order to create community data reports.
The following are HIP reports, fact sheets, and data briefs. Presentations made at Community Health Committee meetings over the last year are available on the Meetings page. Can't find what you are looking for? Please contact us.
