The purpose of the Washtenaw County Criminal Justice Collaborative Council (CJCC) is to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, fairness, and cooperative efforts of criminal justice agencies by developing plans, programs and positions on concerns which have multi-disciplinary Criminal Justice System application, have a positive impact on crime, are innovative or are intergovernmental in scope.

The Housing and Human Services Advisory Board (HHSAB) makes recommendations to the Ann Arbor City Council and Administration, and the Washtenaw County Office of Community & Economic Development (OCED) regarding policies and programs to address the housing and human services needs of low-income residents of the City of Ann Arbor.

The Police Services Steering Committee (PSSC) was established by the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners April 19, 2006, providing a forum for County officials, the Sheriff', and local officials to discuss issues pertaining to the price of contract policing as well a what County-wide police services the County should provide.
