Community Police Academy

Community Police Academy - Winter 2023
January 18 - April 5, 2023

A very popular program, the Community Police Academy is designed to give community members who are 18 years of age or older a behind the scenes, in-depth look into the everyday happenings of the Sheriff’s Office. Our goal is to make this course an informative and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. It’s an opportunity for our dedicated staff to share what we do and how we do it. Each year we hold two 11-week long Community Police Academy sessions. Each session meets once per week and can have as many as 50 participants from all across Washtenaw County.
