Washtenaw County has an agreement with the University of Michigan’s Environment, Health & Safety to conduct the food service inspections operated on the property of the University of Michigan. The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) licenses and inspects over 19,000 grocery and convenience stores, food processors and food warehouses.
