Administrative Operations is comprised of civilian personnel who are responsible for providing administrative and logistic support to all service areas of the Sheriff's Office. Administrative Operations includes Human Resources, Background Investigations, Business and Finance, Records, and the Service Desks.

The Sheriff's Office provides a wide array of justice and human services supported by career paths in corrections, law enforcement, public safety communications, and emergency management. Our staff is comprised of full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees.
Personal Protection Orders (PPOs) are orders of the Washtenaw County Trial Court that forbid or require a person to do something.
The Records Division is responsible for recording and storing case files. They maintain all incident and accident reports generated by the Sheriff's Office.
