Flu Shots

Seasonal flu vaccine is available. Call 734-544-6700 to schedule an appointment. Or stop in if you are at 555 Towner Street for other services. Most local providers and pharmacies also have it. 

Available Flu Shots

  • Quadrivalent (covers two influenza A strains and two B strains) for children and adults
  • High dose trivalent for adults over 65 years old

Payment Options

Washtenaw County Health Department accepts Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Please have your card when scheduling and bring it with you to your appointment.

If you do not have Medicaid or Blue Cross Blue Shield, the vaccine will cost $41, or $79 for the high dose vaccine.

Currently, we cannot bill other private insurance but will provide you with a receipt. We accept cash, checks or Visa and Mastercard. If using cash, please bring bills smaller than $50.

We are unable to bill Medicare Part B, so participants must go to a physician or pharmacy for their flu shot.

Who Should Get Vaccinated?

  • The seasonal flu vaccine is recommended for everyone 6 months of age and older
