Economic Development Corporation
Under Act 338 the Chair of the County Board of Commissioners, with the advice and consent of the Board of Commissioners, shall appoint nine directors to the Board of Directors of the EDC; and not more than three directors shall be an officer or employee of the County.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Commission
Meetings are held quarterly at the Washtenaw County Emergency Operations Center.

Health Emergency Response Coalition
The group comprises public/environmental health, LE, County Commissioner, emergency management, EMS, FBI, Red Cross, WISD, EMU, UM and several other agencies.

Historic District Commission
The Washtenaw County Historic District Commission shall consist of seven or nine members to be appointed by the Chair of the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners with the approval of the Board of Commissioners.

Homeland Security Task Force
The Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners created a Homeland Security Task Force to coordinate all county homeland security activities with federal, state, and local governments; to assess terrorism risks, response capabilities and needed improvements; to develop community guidance and emergency response procedures; and to make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners about utilization of federal and state homeland security grant funds for domestic preparedness equipment and training.

Huron River Watershed Council
An annual meeting of the Council shall be held in the month of May of each year.

Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority (PDF)
The Authority meets monthly on the second Thursday of each month.
