When calling Washtenaw County Metro Dispatch to report a crime in progress, a suspicious person or vehicle, please obtain the following information (if the information can be safely obtained):

  • Eye Color
  • Hair
  • Hair (and Style)
  • Hat
  • Height
  • Pants
  • Race
  • Sex
  • Shirt
  • Shoes
  • Weight

Vehicle Description

  • Body Style
  • Color
  • Dents / Scratches / Etc.
  • License Number
  • Make
  • Year

A Washtenaw County Metro Dispatch Operator will ask a series of questions pertinent to determining the appropriate response to your reported incident. The answers to these questions can often effect citizen and responder safety, so prompt and accurate responses greatly improve the quality of our responder's service.
